Michael Oiknine

Michael is a tried and true entrepreneur with over 15 years experience crafting and selling companies. As the co-founder and COO of Kefta, Inc., a SaaS provider of online behavioral targeting solutions, Michael was instrumental in growing and shaping the business before its acquisition by Acxiom. After earning his MBA from Harvard to complement his MS in Engineering from École Centrale Lyon in France, Michael was the managing director of GiSMo, a mobile payment startup owned by Millicom International Cellular and a consultant with Altis, a consulting firm now owned by Cap Gemini Ernst & Young in Paris, France.

Fazal Majid

Before pursuing his passion for mobile analytics with Apsalar, Fazal honed his engineering, research and development skills as the co-founder and CTO of Kefta, Inc., acquired by Acxiom in March 2007. He led the integration of Kefta’s technology into the Acxiom platform post-acquisition. Before founding Kefta, Fazal graduated with a MS in Engineering from the École Polytechnique and a MS in Telecommunications from Telecom ParisTech in France. Fazal started his career with France Telecom R&D researching Internet payment and e-commerce systems, and then became Deputy VP of Engineering and lead architect for their retail ISP division. His architecture helped Wanadoo scale to become the largest ISP in France. He later served as VP of Operations for EuroNet Internet BV in the Netherlands.

Ryan Grenier

Ryan is an accomplished product leader with experience in online advertising as well as consumer and enterprise product management. At Apsalar, he leads the effort to deliver world-class user analytics and behavioral targeting products for advertisers. Prior to Apsalar, Ryan was Senior Director of Product Management at YuMe, where he led delivery of their innovative ad units and brand security offerings. Before working in online advertising, Ryan also worked in product management at Yahoo! & as a consultant with PA Consulting and Accenture. As a consultant he worked on and led business transformation projects with T-Mobile USA, Astra Zeneca, US Army and BP. To pay for his degree at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, Ryan managed a mobile wine bottling line in Sonoma Valley.

Raj Kandasamy

Raj Kandasamy brings a wealth of experience in big data engineering, real-time insights and marketing technology development to our company. Most recently, he was VP of Engineering and Data for OpenX, a leading digital, and mobile advertising technology company.  Before OpenX, he was Director of Engineering for the Aggregate Knowledge media intelligence and data management platform, now part of Neustar. At Aggregate Knowledge, he took big data analytics platform to serving billions of requests a month, all while keeping uptime intact. He began his successful career with Intuit and Netscape. Raj focuses on building technology solutions that meet today’s business targets, while also anticipating challenges of SaaS platforms. Raj holds a BS in Computer Science from the Thiagarajar College of Engineering.

Dayton Keane

Dayton was most recently with Mediaplex as the VP Sales & Marketing and responsible for all platform sales.  He formulated effective sales and marketing strategies that lead Mediaplex’s efforts to expand sales penetration in key product areas which included RTB, analytics, tag management, and 3rd party ad serving. Prior to Mediaplex, Dayton served as Vice President of Sales for Fliqz. Fliqz was a video platform provider that worked with some of the largest publishers and advertisers offering video encoding, management, distribution, and monetization across all platforms and mobile devices.  His experience prior to Fliqz included Aptimus, The Loan Page, and Verio.  Dayton started his career at Frontier Communications and spent 7 years in a variety of sales management positions.  Dayton holds a B.A. in geography from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

Jason Matthews

Jason’s experience spans 22 years working with companies that have impacted technology products and services domestically and globally. He has led a number of key functions, including data center build outs, contract negotiations, large scale system provisioning, and capacity planning. His previous positions include, Data Center Manager at DHD Media LLC, Director of Network Operations at FPA Medical Management, Inc., and Security Officer at Kefta, Inc. He has consulted for small and large-sized companies, including StrongMail, SheKnows, and Acxiom Corporation.

Jim has  20+ years experience in over 80 different categories, including developing successful positioning and go-to-market plans for more than 40 adtech and martech companies.  He joins Apsalar after several years as VP of Marketing for Conversant, where he led various efforts in the successful rebrand of the company from ValueClick, Inc.  The rebrand and associated industry attention for the company contributed to the $2.3B sale of Conversant to Alliance Data in December, 2014. He is a prolific writer for digital trades on brand marketing, mobile, video, data, and customer profiling. Publications include iMedia Connection, Inside Radio, VentureBeat, ad:tech, ShellyPalmer.com, Jack Myers, and many consumer publications. He holds a B.A. in U.S. History from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA in Marketing from the University of Chicago
